CURRENT ROSTER
Three playable heroes
Wallace, Brienne, and Ruadh are the confirmed playable roster. The August 13 update adds Aodh as an unlockable companion, not a fourth hero; its notes do not publish his unlock route.
Brienne
Her unlock quest received a launch-week fix for gates that could block progress.
Ruadh
Official patch 0.8.57278 states that Ruadh unlocks after defeating the Banshee.

CURRENT BUILD
Early Access is moving quickly
The latest official patch reviewed is August 14 v0.14.58630, with multiplayer state-desync fixes. The August 13 v0.12.58540 update shipped major networking improvements, HP-based revives, Aodh, and more Steam Deck stability work.
Last verified: August 15, 2026. Crossplay is still marked temporarily disabled on the main Steam branch, and mid-run saves remain in progress.
