August 14: v0.14.58630 multiplayer fixes
- Fixed Elite and Boss HP desync between clients.
- Fixed client Threat Level and Campaign Map desync.
- Fixed Triskeles flying away and a general enemy death-position issue.
- Added a tentative client fix for bosses briefly spawning in the air.
- Included the previous August 13 hotfix for buffs that never expired and attacks that could block enemy movement.
- Repeated the main-branch crossplay-disabled warning and Crossplay Beta instruction.
August 13: v0.12.58540 networking, revives, and Aodh
Paper Cult describes networking as drastically improved, though poor or distant connections can still produce shorter and less frequent stutters. The update also fixes lobby visibility, adds region and connection-quality information, and includes further crash and optimization work.
Reviving now costs 50% of the reviver's current HP, requires more than 10% maximum HP, and restores the fallen player in proportion to the maximum-health share sacrificed. The revive window becomes five seconds shorter after every revive. Aodh, the Vigil also arrives as an unlockable companion; the official post does not publish his unlock route.
August 9 and August 1: hotfix and balance pass
- August 9 v0.11.57874.1 disabled the Epic Online Services overlay after it was traced to sudden mouse-stutter reports.
- August 1 v0.11.57863 rebalanced meta-progression, campaign economy, Charms, Act 2 encounters, Beacons, and Emblem selection.
- The August 1 patch also continued performance, crash, art, collision, UI, and progression fixes.
July 24: unlocks and the first crossplay branch warning
- Changed Ruadh's unlock to defeating the Banshee.
- Fixed gates that could block Brienne's unlock quest.
- Temporarily disabled main-branch crossplay and retained the older compatible build through the Crossplay Beta branch.
- Adjusted Wallace weapon costs, region rewards, event costs, bosses, enemies, and the default frame-rate cap.
Known work—not confirmed shipped features
Mid-run saving and further optimization remain active development work. The August 13 post says progress is being made but does not announce that mid-run saves are available.
Likewise, planned heroes and content do not have reliable dates simply because they appear in a teaser or roadmap category.
