Tears of Metal Guides is an independent, English-language player resource focused on clear answers, official sourcing, and useful context during Early Access.

What we publish

We cover beginner decisions, heroes and unlocks, Emblems and progression, online co-op, crossplay branches, platforms, PC requirements, the Early Access roadmap, and player-facing patch changes. Pages are organized around a distinct question instead of repeating the same summary under different titles.

How the site is independent

This site is not owned, sponsored, or operated by Paper Cult, Valve, Microsoft, Sony, or any other platform holder. Tears of Metal names and official artwork remain the property of their respective owners. Links to official stores and news exist for verification and player convenience.

What “verified” means

A verified date means the page was compared with the official sources named in its source log on that date. It does not mean a live-service fact can never change. When the installed game or a newer developer post conflicts with this site, the newer primary source wins.

How we use AI assistance

AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting, editing, code, and quality checks. They are not treated as sources. Time-sensitive game claims must be traceable to official listings or developer announcements, and we do not claim personal gameplay testing that did not occur.

Commercial model

The long-term goal is to support the cost of maintaining the site through clearly labeled advertising or affiliate relationships. Commercial arrangements do not purchase rankings, change factual conclusions, or remove the source log. At the time of this update, no paid placement appears in the guides.
